Auto tuning is fine for pop music, but not for broadway-style songs. It sounds really weird. I guess I'm of The mindset that you shouldn't cast non-singing actors in musicals unless their voices are dubbed.

Meh. Gerard Butler's voice sounded good after it was auto tuned for The Phantom of the Opera and that was an '04 release. But they only needed to fix his voice when he had to hit the high notes. If that is all that is required of Emma Watson's voice editing, I think the film won't suffer for it.

The only problem is the weird release. They should have released this at Christmas.

True. I'll reserve judgement until I hear the songs in their entirety. They did a good job with Gerard Butler in Phantom. If I recall correctly, Minnie Driver was the only actor in that film who was dubbed.

Doesn't top Angela Lansbury. GOAT.
Yep. And honestly I don't understand why they didn't just bring her back. I mean she can still do it, she sang the song a few months back and it was flawless. Only real disagreement I have with this one.
Trailer was awesome though. Will definitely be seeing this.

Director Bill Condon also directed Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh.
I thought that was kinda cool.
