Was there a thread last weekend? If so please post link. I can't find one.
Just watched the first 2 episodes late. Pretty good stuff, however there's no way the killed Travis off right?! Wtf

I actually enjoyed it too. im pretty sure Travis is really dead. I kept thinking it was a dream. They also had the actor on Talking Dead along with a writer and they confirmed he is indeed dead.

EPs have confirmed he's dead. Plus the actor has moved on.

I like Strand and now these new characters but I'm starting to hate the core family.

I mean I can't see how he could have survived but if not that's probably the lamest way they could have written him off.

Getting rid of Travis was a surprise

I agree
Was such a forced underwhelming death after spending so much time developing his character into a badass after chris died.

I don't know how you come to forced. It was abrupt and unexpected and they didn't tease and drag it out. I thought it was well done and I think the show tends towards crap most of the time.

Yeah I think that's actually the reason they killed him off. He's gonna be filming Avatar sequels for a few years.

First two episodes were much improved from season 1&2.

Bump for last nights Mid-Season Finale

I actually really enjoyed it. They def have turned the series around IMO. Looking forward to the 2nd half.

So far this season (combined with the end of last season) is easily the most engrossed I've been in TWD in years. Also I'm not sure I've ever seen a better "turn-around" of a TV series.

Last, I'm kinda fine with not much of a thread, keeps the trolls away.

Great season and really have enjoyed the turnaround. Pretty damn cool to have scalping and anthrax in the same episode

Did anyone notice Jake Otto in his meeting with his father and brother after being scalped and beaten? No scalp mark or black eye. Then the next scene his scalp is clearly cut and has a huge black eye.

No big deal wife and I thought he looked pretty damn good for what he had just gone through

The scalp deal was weak but the season was much better!

I went into this season expecting to let it drop off my radar, but it got better each week. Incidentally, the desert/arid region is about the best location for survivors in a situation like that...provided they have stocked rations. I'd put on the war paint and join the injuns.

Can someone explain the ending to me? Do the brother's know how dad died? If Dad is in the sheet, what's in the coffin and why is Morgan staring at it? Does the head mean the remaining peeps are allowed to stay?

It appears that the brothers think it was suicide to save everyone, but I'm sure the truth will come out at some point. Everyone gets to stay but its obvious that both sides understandably hate each other and living together might be impossible.

earlier in the season the other brother looked pretty good after taking a spoon to the eye. Couple a days later he was good to go

In like episode 4 or 5 or so when they go on that mission and the audience meets Walker, they still had makeup effects making his eye looking kind of wonky. Like tucked up at the top of his eye socket.

I missed most of last season, but am really glad I started again to start this season. It's been really good. Better than TWD.

It started getting good, to me, with the Ranch episodes.

I totally don't get where the Victor line is going. Why did he burn the boat?

I avoided a lot of posts in here for spoilers, but good to hear that the show rebounded. I still have the last few episodes of last season on my DVR, along with this season, and I've been really close to deleting them and the series. Getting through last season has become such a chore for me that I have almost given up. But this thread makes me want to at least give it through this half of the season.
