How long before they throw the black guy overboard?

He doesn't have a clue as to how his boat works. He's a shitty commanding officer of a crew who doesn't care about his personal war.

Chuck him over and get on with it.

Problem is, can anyone else do better as far as navigation goes?

I'm really tired of them feeling sorry for every single person they come across and trying to bring them aboard. That's extremely unrealistic.

I dont get what brought down the plane. They had a few people turn in the cabin but why would that interfere with the operation of the cockpit behind locked doors

Somehow a window started cracking and broke open allowing the cabin to become depressurized and I'm assuming this caused the airplane to start coming apart. I don't know how that works but I do remember one of the passenger windows cracked and broke open.

They are. Plus there have been incidences in aviation history where doors and entire sections of panels have come off and the plane still stayed together. So unless the plane was manufactured in Yugoslavia, a broken window wouldn't cause an in flight break up on a modern jetliner.

I realize we shouldn't completely and totally throw realism out the window, but dead people were coming back to life on that plane- a broken window causing a crash wouldn't nearly be the biggest stretch.

How is that "extremely" unrealistic? I agree that it is annoying, but a person not wanting to leave any non-zombies behind isn't that unrealistic.

I highly doubt that people would have heavy debates about bringing every single person they come across on to a ship. Especially a ship that isn't their own.
