OR

OR

Clarkson is obviously the star, but I laugh more at May and his sneaky, one liners and quirky personality.

There is no show without Jeremy. He's the funniest and even his co-stars agree with that.

I think why I like them so much is I have no favorite, they are all needed.
May has his dry wit. Jeremy is the nucleus and he is such an arse, but a funny arse, and Richard is a clown with a love for American muscle.

May

It's his comedic timing.

But May's Ford/Ferrari/Le Mans segment on last week's episode.

When I first started watching Top Gear, I would have gone with Hammond but he's quite hammy now.

I have to go with May. Man Lab was good, his drinking shows with Oz Clarke were entertaining, and the Reassembler is kinda entertaining in its own way.

Heck, he even beat Gordon Ramsey in the kitchen. The F-Word (James May)

Clarkson makes the show, so he would be my favorite presenter. However, Hammond would be the guy I would want to have a beer with; he seems like a genuinely nice dude.

I think it's actually May's other shows that make him my favorite. His "Top of the World" special in the U2 Spy Plane should've won awards and his wine special with Oz was in many ways as good as top gear. They're chemistry was excellent and May is a genuinely interesting dude.

Cars of the People was quite good as well. Showed he could host a car show on his own, and it be incredibly entertaining.

That said, the character of Jeremy Clarkson: Car Show Host, is what makes everything work between the 3. No question.
