Elmer Bernstein's spare music score, stark but mournful, completely captures the mood of the film and perfectly compliments the brilliant cinematography of James Wong Howe.

the main theme is fantastic. it fit the movie so well it sends chills down my spine every time I hear it.

there must be 50 versions of star wars out there for some reason, seems like it would be most of the same music.

i'd say purple rain is my goto soundtrack....

Superman - I got this as a Christmas present and must have worn it out. I made my poor parents take me to see the movie three times the first week. Still enjoy the hell out it.
