This description makes me think some studio heads at CBS read the Following thread on this board and decided to up the ante.

And I really wanted to like The Michael J. Fox show, but after the first 2, I bailed. Did it get better?

I only saw that pilot and I have to say it was pretty boring and none of the storylines interested me. Especially his kids

JAmes spader and the music are the only reason I am still tuning in to this show.

The music is great in this show. I look forward to the end to see what they will play. The pilot was good, the last few have been a bit meh. They are going to drag the husband identity thing out all season unfortunately.

"Hostages" (CBS) -- This one does not have the ratings tied up. Don't look for it to make a second season.

"The Blacklist" (NBC) -- James Spader is killing the game as a master criminal in this new drama. The show might also be benefiting from its lead-in, "The Voice." Either way, people are watching.

Appears I picked the wrong Monday night show.

Gotta admit that I watch Dads, but only for Brenda Song and Jessica Simpson's Ex-husband's current wife. Gotta admit though, Boon is pretty fun in it.

• "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (Fox) -- This one feels very "Parks and Recreation." It's a critical darling, but ratings have not been overwhelming. We are rooting for you, Andy Samberg.

The pilot was Free Per View for a couple of weeks on JetBlue flights before the pilot aired on network tv. On my 3rd flight I finally decided to make myself watch it (it was 11pm-ish on a Sunday night, not a whole lot to choose from). I was shocked that it was pretty good. I haven't set my DVR for it yet, but I probably should.

I have. I enjoy it. Of the few new shows that i have started watching, this one is my favorite. It is head and shoulders above Dads which im giving 1 more episode.

You know they have porn and pictures of hot chicks on the internet, right? Like, it's real easy to get to. You don't have to watch shitty tv shows to see hot girls.

Disclaimer: I'm sorry if you've been in a coma and don't know what the internet is.

Oh course, but you never know when a random shot of BS jumping up-and-down in some ridiculously sexy outfit is gonna happen. Gotta see that shite live, son.

But contrary to supposed standards of taste, watching some shitty shitcom isn't gonna ruin my day.

Brooklyn 99 is hilarious, hope it gets a full order.

Somehow I started watching "Mom" and it's pretty good. It's dark as hell. I hate shows with a laugh track but this one is pretty good. Hope it doesn't get canned.
