Traces of Death was worse than Faces. Much more real footage.

I would give just about anything to go back to a time in my life where faces of death freaked me out and made me feel uncomfortable.

the one where the Korean people are taking puppies and gutting them while they are alive and throwing them in a pot pisses me off. I rented it on VHS years ago, and never again.
This,I remember wondering what was going on. You see the kids playing with these cute little husky puppies, when i saw them bring em' inside I turned it off, I kinda figured what was going on.

'Banned from TV' was pretty brutal too. If you're into that type of stuff bestgore.com has some shite that will make you sick. Friend of mine linked me to that site where it was showing mexican cartel executions. To this day I cant get that shite out of my head.

Some of the scenes are real.

The slaughterhouse scene is the one that I remeber the most. Not that it fricked me up or anything, but I always remind people of stuff liek that when they want to talk about Michael Vick as a murdering sociopath.

I thought I had been desensitized to gore, but a few days ago Reddit had a .gif of a guy that had been chopped in half in a motorcycle accident. His legs were about five feet away from him and his innards had spilled out his midsection.

He was still conscious and was seemingly picking debris out of his guts and then at the end tried to pull his stomach flap down over his wound to cover it.

That one messed me up. In fact, I'm still feeling ill about it.

I knew I shouldn't have clicked this thread. Just reading it is making me queazy.

ETA: I didn't see the videos but I saw pictures on rotten a while back. Decomposed babies, suicide bomber killed by a snipers headshot, lady jumping to her death and landing half on half off a car, decapitation my helicopter rotor, man with his jaw and half his neck ripped off in a motorcycle accident.

Good friend of mine said he saw one FoD video where some guys tied a guy to a tree and set him on fire...his expression of the guys face while screaming was too much for me. Said the guy flailed around for about 5 minutes while burning alive.

It's fake, unless you think Movie Gallery actually carries snuff films.

The one I remember the most(not sure which video it was) was somewhere in Asia this dude gets shot with a shotgun point blank in the gut and he just bleeds out onto the street while people just casually walk by.

Not judging or anything, I promise, but I gotta ask: why would some of y'all watch this stuff even once? Just curiosity I'm guessing? I'm not the quesy sort but I wouldn't even consider watching something like some of the sick stuff being discussed, real or fake. To each their own, I fully understand, just trying to wrap my mind around it is all.

I saw the male predator get his head shot off at the BR airport after he kidnapped the Jody kid

so no need to see any of that but it came out in the 70's IIRC

When I was a kid they were very taboo which was all the more reason to see it. Now that I'm older I'm a bit more sensitive and squeamish to that kind of thing.

I ask myself the same fricking question. It's that whole train wreck thing, we just have to look and can't stop looking, even though we know we're about to see some shite that we'll always wish we could un-see. It's that same thing that makes us go to horror movies in droves. Some innate sense, forces us to face our mortality in certain moments, when we are given a choice to see it or look away. Most of us have to see it, and later wish we'd looked away. I have no idea why, but it's just how it be

I agree on everything you said, but the difference between the two is one you can say "damn that shite sucks, but I know its not real." And the real stuff, "damn, seeing that guy get a chainsaw to his head must really suck" and knowing its real is harder to unsee and digest than the movies. Not being argumentative, but I think they are worlds apart(real vs. horror).

Watching some of those low level cartel guys get their heads sawed off is something you cant forget. I never understood how someone can absolutely hate another human being so bad to do such heinous things to each other.

Oh most definitely, I'm just saying that the "horror movie" thing probably comes from the same urge, just to a way lesser degree. There's just something about us that wants to see sick shite. And most people that like horror movies, or that like to be scared, will make themselves watch snuff films. But like you said, it's a lot easier to shake the thought of Michael Myers stabbing someone, than one of these Cartel fricks sawing off someones head with a butter knife.
