The Undying Lands...

Interesting fact, some Tolkien scholars believe this is an allegory for North Baton Rouge.

Such details are cleverly hidden in the books.

Try 'em.

Pretty sure that fact was cleverly hidden by having several people mention it during the movies too.

Which one? I felt like that movie had five different endings.

No Scouring of the Shire, so any ending is invalid.

The entire three books were about the maturation of the hobbits, and the damned movie excluded the culmination of that story arc.

Jackson’s biggest mistake was killing Saruman at Orthanc and thus precluding the Scouring.

Valinor

He actually doesn't go to the "full Valinor" where the Valar and most of the Elves reside. I think Frodo (and later Sam and Gimli) all have to stay on an outer island of Valinor and can't go onto the mainland because it is forbidden for all mortals. We don't know how long Frodo and the other mortals lived while there, but the common thought is they eventually died and went to heaven (aka to be with Eru in the eternal space) afterward... Which the Elves could not do.

Gandalf would obviously go wherever he wanted in Valinor since he was an Ainur anyway.

I’ve never read the books so bear with me. The movies show Saruman defeated in the battle with the ents. Could that be considered a replacement for the scouring?

No. I don’t blame Jackson for removing it since that adds at least another 40 minutes to the film and he was getting away with enough as it was. But no, the themes it represents, killing Saruman just isn’t enough.

Mandos hall I am still salty Jackson went with a CGI "I Win" Ghost army instead of what really happened. The forces of Men and what remenant of Gondor gathered together and push the Mordor Army out with the Rohirrim.

The Gondorian was shown to be week and ineffectual the entire movie when in reality, they were fricking tough for holding out as long as they could.
