Emma Watson & Miles Teller are p.o. about La La Land

For those who are not too keen on La La Land, watching the musical clean up at awards shows may elicit a certain amount of exasperation. For Emma Watson and Miles Teller, seeing Damien Chazelle and company pick up trophies apparently comes with the bitter sting of regret. At one point Watson and Teller were in line for the roles that ultimately went to Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, and, according to someone who blabbed to Page Six, the two are currently “freaking out and looking for someone else to blame.”
Per Page Six, both the one-time Hermione and the dude who was harassed by J.K. Simmons in Chazelle’s Whiplash were reluctant to get on board for La La Land. A different source revealed that Teller wanted $2 million more than he was initially offered. Mind you: Teller has a different story of how this all went down. He told Esquire in 2015 that his agent relayed him the message that Chazelle went a different direction after deciding Teller wasn’t “creatively right” any longer. (Teller sent a text in response: “What the frick bro?”) Meanwhile, Watson reportedly insisted on rehearsing in London and, despite efforts to appease her on behalf of the production, decided to sing for Disney’s Beauty And The Beast remake instead.
“Now both Miles and Emma Watson are raising hell with their agents for not securing the roles for them—even though it was the actors’ fault for being too demanding,” the source told Page Six. That’s a juicy bit of gossip, but whether you choose to believe it is your call.

Can't really blame Watson for picking the Disney "sure thing" over a risky musical.
Just bit her in the flat arse this time.

I don't plan on seeing this movie but I'm fairly certain its better off with Gosling and Stone.

Would not have been nearly the success. Emma Watson can't act and Miles Teller wishes he was half as charming as Gosling.

This movie wouldn't have been a success with Watson & Teller

I would have liked to see Emma Watson over Emma Stone as well.

How in the hell was Ryan Gosling Plan B to Miles Teller?

Gosling only wanted to join the project when Emma Stone got on board

He is such a punchable text messenger.

I can so see Miles Teller saying this.
Also:
Can I get a "punchable face" rating for Teller?

Be glad Miles Teller didn't do it. If he had, the film would've been a huge bust.
Just like everything else he touches.

Someone said the "musical' stopped about 25 minutes in, 35 minutes in when they launched into another song I turned it off.

Chazelle got it right. I love me some Miles Teller, but Gosling was perfect for this role. Stone or Watson would have been a nice fit, so choosing to go with who Gosling wanted obviously was the right decision. They are gonna clean house at the Oscars.
