before they had to give some money, time and organize coverage...now they just sign up for twitter and say things are racist, sexist, etc. I do have to roll my eyes sometimes at the absurdities of 2015

I planned to see it in the first place...now I'll just sit back and really enjoy it knowing it's an attack on SJWs...all while laughing at the SJWs texting on their phones during the movie who have no clue.

Yeah, but with the proliferation of social media and just plain media, they are now duping ordinary fools into espousing their nonsense.
True, but the trailer makes it look like another of Eli's orgies of violence against "stupid Americans."

He was also responsible for some of this year's Shark Week insults to traditional nature documentaries and human intelligence.

I'll cable it.

I actually read something a week or so ago about this. I'm all for it if he's telling the truth, although it won't mean much in the long run.

Also, I definitely plan on seeing this at some point. I like some (key word) of ER's movies, and this is an homage to Cannibal Holocaust, which I can dig. I expect it to be pretty fricked up.

Probably not. It's not like Eli Roth is trying to save the world here. He's just letting it known what some of his thoughts were when making the movie. He's not trying to end SJW's. I think he knows that's impossible. This movie, nor any other movie for that matter, will change the overall nature of people. It doesn't mean Roth is going to not let his feelings be known. Good for him.

Just trying to wrangle up an audience for his crappy movie. The Ice Bucket Challenge line exemplifies how far he's reaching.

I don't disagree that that's what he's doing, but it's spot on in his criticisms though. For most people, it's definitely all about being acknowledged for caring than the actual caring. Who cares if you don't donate money or try to help a cause...you liked it on facebook (or got likes from something you posted) and that's what really matters.

Also, what amazes me about these "untouched tribes" of people is not only that they still exist, but how many of them do all over the world. I mean shite, there were some in like 2009/2010 who shot at helicopters because they don't know what they are...in 2010! shite is fascinating.

Uncontacted peoples on Wiki.

That's the most fascinating thing about the movie to me. I have always been interested in it for that reason.

the film is really about people getting caught up in causes they don’t know anything about and doing it for vanity reasons more than for the cause itself.

Holy crap I f-in called this one to my roommate last night. I said this was a movie about stupid white kids going to try and "save the ignorant savages and blah, blah and the tribespeople do what they do and kill them"

Some know. They just don't want to be fricked with AT ALL.

Like the Sentinalese

I'd say these people were a significant inspiration as well.
