The fact that all the actors have British accents in Ancient Greek or Roman movies. And most of them have bad accents.

1) I get why they do this, but it still bothers me how quickly a hangover is shook off

2) the invincible woman fighter. So played out.

3) cartoonish street thugs. Dammit, if there's gonna be a mugging, get some actors that really look and act like muggers.

4) where do villains find these armies of easily defeated soldiers to fight for them? "Hi, I plan on destroying the world. Want a job?"

There's some other sound effects constantly used in movies....kids lauging, guy screaming.

It's almost become a meme within the filmmaking industry. It's been around for 60 years!

Hahahah! I've heard about that repeatedly, but never seen the compilation.

There's another one that gets re-used that I think is far more ridiculous. The only places I can think of right now are the end of the opening credits of the cartoon "Rocko's Modern Life" and when Howie Long dies in "Broken Arrow".

Correction: It was the cartoon, "Real Monsters", which I don't even remember. I found this compilation when looking for Howie Long's death scream:

Back on point... My pet peeve is when they reuse old footage from the movie in flashbacks that are clearly supposed to be occurring in the character's head. It just seems like laziness--shoot the scene from a second angle at least, or do it right and have the flashback footage from the first-person view.

I think it was US Marshalls that did a flashback from someone's memory using security camera footage that the character had never seen. That was really annoying.

That one is actually semi-legit. It is thought that the Roman accent emphasized similar characters and pace when compared to British accents. Roman Briton's pronunciation and accent merged with Germanic Anglo-Saxon, while the rest of Europe was influenced by the Huns, Moors, Lombards, Ottomans, etc.

When someone is walking away from an explosion he/they set and don't look back. As if its an everyday thing. Way overused.

Racking a shell into a shotgun, sneaking around looking for the other guy and then racking another without firing.

What happened to one that was already loaded?

Every single person who wears an ear piece will invariably at some point touch their ear tilt their head down and back while leaning towards their ear to show that they received a message. It's stupidly annoying. Especially when it is the way someone notices them.

A trained agent gets noticed because he makes some giant leaning gesture to listen to a message? The bad guy can afford a 100 person security force and a hightech laser security grid and a laptop with more encryption than ever invented before and a secret tunnel leading to a private chopper to take him to another hideout, but he cant afford to give his security guys headphones loud enough to hear without jamming them into your head.

omg this. People will go out raging and downing about 15 tequila shots and stay out til the sun comes up, then the next day they're up and at em doing a bunch more crazy shite like nothing happened.

IRL, you know damn well that person is staying on the couch with a blanket and throwing on netflix until at least 3pm.
