Staged, sure. But it's kind of nice to see a reality TV show where the family members try to stick together and teach their kids about values, rather than feeding them Twinkie spaghetti or whatever the frick happens on Honey Boo Boo.
X 10000

This is one of the first and only "reality shows" I enjoy watching weekly.

Eta: swamp ppl was good for a season or two.

I think it's great that they all sit down for dinner and say grace and laugh and talk together at the end of every episode. It might be the only actual event on the show, while staged, that feels genuine.

It was at the old Maybe's/Austin's Bistro in Monroe. And for those asking, I'm not sure about the women but the guys went to Ouachita Christian at some point and not Neville.

The show is scripted and they'll tell you that but highly doubt he'd make that up.

Tickle hasn't been getting fall-off-the-roof drunk this season except for the time he passed out in his truck. I have been disappointed so far.

Two other shows that are awesome are Axe Men and Swamp Loggers. Axe men is 100% scripted and staged while Swamp Loggers is 100% real. It is one of the only reality shows that is true to life.

Eta: Does anyone else wish they could crank Honey Boo Boo upside the head with an aluminum bat? I would pay extra to be able to poke her mom with pins a bunch of times to see if she pops

Absolutely.

One of the few shows on tv that you don't mind your kids watching with you.

From what I've heard, the actual settings and what not are obviously staged, but the dialogue between them is real. That sounds pretty plausible to me. I don't see any writers coming up with half the shite these guys say.

This is my take as well. Scripted situations, and then they just roll footage. It's essentially an improv show. And I like that these guys are smart enough to be in on the joke. It's just a fun show that's legitimately funny.

It's probably the only reality show my wife watches I don't hate. Way too much reality TV is so mean-spirited.

Thank you we're watching redneck "Who's Line Is It Anyway".

We just new a few songs from Wayne Brady to make it legit.
