I saw 'Spy" yesterday. It was entertaining. I don't know anything about "Dope" except that Forest Whitaker is involved. That alone makes me want to go see it.

I wanna see Dope but haven't seen either yet.

Yeah I was shocked at how funny it was.
McCarthy really wasn't that funny but Statham and the rest of the cast were great.

Yep, seen everything else so went to Spy. Enjoyed it. I like Melissa, but she is kind of over the top.

Spy has Melissa McCarthy. That should automatically make it a "no" no matter whom else is in it.
Dope is full of early 90's references, so it should be good if nothing else than as a nostalgia play.

It hadnt been for the 95% on RT I wouldn't have went and was pleasantly surprised.
Not seeing it just because it has Melissa McCarthy is asinine, I don't like her but if she makes a good movie then why not

I'm not a big fan of MM either, but the rest of the cast were hilarious, especially Rose Byrne and Jason Statham.
Rose began her career as a dramatic actress but she has a natural gift for understated comedy. Miranda Hart was great as well.

I saw it last night and I enjoyed it. Many people here have also admitted it was good.
There is a reason the movie is a 95% on RT. If you're avoiding it only because of her, then you're probably missing out.

I think I'll be okay.

Dope was a bit over-hyped.
Basically Risky Business with black teen dope dealers in place of white teen pimps.
Some preachiness as well. The film stops in a few places for a lesson or two.
