Does Woody Allens personal life choices affect how you feel about his movies?

For me personally, no. I have personal experience of saying I enjoy Woody Allen as a director and having people upset because of his personal life. Yes i disagree with his choices but that does not change the fact that I think he makes damn good movies. Love and Death, Annie Hall, Midnight in Paris I all loved regardless

IDGAF about Woody Allen, but no actor/director/etc.'s personal life affects my movie watching really.

Closest maybe is Harmony Korine, but just because I think he is a pedophile and his movies almost confirm that. That being said, I still have seen some of them and they aren't awful (and some are decent).

No. I thought he was a weirdo before I knew he was weirdo.

yes, if I can't distinguish the character from the real man the movie is ineffective

no matter what, when I'm looking at the screen the character I see is "woody allen: pederast"

When the allegations came out it had an effect on my enjoyment of his movies, but that wore off pretty quickly once he was cleared.

Midnight in Paris and Blue Jasmine are two of my favorite movies from the past few years.

I'm not saying there was enough to convict or maybe even charge him, but he wasn't "cleared"

Clooney's political views don't affect how I see his movies. This is no different

I still always loved Michael Jackson's music, even though I think he more than likely did some inappropriate shite with kids. Alec Baldwin is still a good actor and does good stuff despite being an a-hole apparently. Etc.

Considering he's never been charged and Mia Farrow is batshit crazy, no.

Well, adultery may be a personal life choice, but incestuous pederasty is a bit much. I like his films.

So he's an accused pedophile.

Just like Prince Andrew and Alan Dershowitz.
