When you're his age, you think he's misunderstood and has it rough with a bully brother. When you're an adult, you see him as an insufferable whiny bitch who strings along Winnie and only wants her when he can't have her.

When someone realizes Kevin in Wonder Years and Daniel LaRusso in Karate Kid are terrible protagonist heros, an angel rings a bell. I love that Cobra Kai addressed that full on.
