Does GOT ASOIAF have the all-time best title sequence?

I would say yes, but awesome music and computer imagery can't beat shite like Magnum PI or Dukes of Hazard that's shot on location with real stunt work.
I'm not saying those are the best, but I can't give the nod to a computer generated atlas.

I think it's the best overall, but as for catchy music, I think one of the ones that has stuck with me the most over the years was Dallas.

In the genre of drama, I've seen no better title sequence than Game of Thrones. It's perfect

I enjoy GOT's intro (especially when we visit new locales), but I think the Dexter intro might be the best all-time when you consider how it perfectly sets the tone for the show.
The mundane, every morning tasks are shot to create that sinister and violent feeling of something much worse lurking underneath. Just really well done (even if the show lost its way).

Sopranos is probably the best, especially if we're talking modern HBO shows. Game of Thrones is a bit too long and crowded sometimes, plus it kind of spoils the episode.

It's iconic. It's one I love and will always remember, but the same could be said of many shows for different people. Really hard to compare those in general
