They aren't on Hulu, either, right?

Are you in BR? I think the CBS tower is across the river?

It's choppy at my house too over near the new mall.

I have a Leaf 60mile antenna, and it's choppy, at best in the right spot.

It's funny how that the signal sucks AND the shows aren't on Hulu.

Baton Rouge's CBS affiliate has the worst signal of all of the local stations. It's not a CBS thing, it's a Baton Rouge thing.

I live in Spanish Town and catch every channel with the antenna perfectly except WAFB. Don't even catch them at all.

CBS in Baton Rouge does not have a bad signal. They have the clearest HD signal of all the locals. You just aren't pointing in the right direction, or you're using a shitty antenna.
CBS is the one station I have never had a single issue with, and LPB. ABC has very rarely gone in and out.
THE NBC and FOX affiliate in Baton Rouge should lose their license to those stations. I don't even know how they call that HD. It's as if you're always watching a shitty stream on those stations. Watched the SuperBowl last night on the Fox Sports GO app instead of on the antenna.

PlayStation Vue has WAFB if you want HD CBS with a DVR.

I have always had problems with CBS. It would piss me off that they had the SEC rights because it was the only channel we couldn't catch when we hooked an antenna to TVs on the sales floor (I work retail). I have been able to rig a TV up down aisles I was working and still catch Saints games, but no where in our building could catch CBS. I always had to resort to dragging one of those party radios around to listen to LSU games.

CBS sucks.

Where I live CBS has the worst signal. I have to put my antenna in the middle of the room. It's the only place I can get a signal.

Maybe at your house but, as you can see from the rest of the responses, more people in the area have problems receiving their signal than the other local network stations. Call them and ask, they'll tell you. When the FCC handed out the HD broadcast parameters in Baton Rouge, WAFB got the short end of the stick.

I live in LP and getting locals on antenna sucks. I never get CBS or ABC. I didn't realize you can get locals on Vue. I'm moving back in in a month or so. If I go without cable I can get Internet and Vue and get locals in BR as well? Tia

It sucked for me too in the Old Goodwood area before I installed this bad boy in my attic. Now I have 27 crystal clear OTA channels WAFB included.

You do realize that not all antennas will catch CBS and ABC in Baton Rouge?
You need an antenna that catches both UHF, and VHF. ABC and CBS are VHF.

I didn't catch ABC or CBS with my antenna in my living room. Moved it to the attic and haven't had a problem since.

CBS is the only local they have right now in the BR area. You get on demand for the other 3. But they are working on rolling out more locals.

The only one I ever had issues with was NBC. Occasionally ABC before it switched over to 68-2. I could get NBC on one of my TVs but another one never picked it up clear. Finally took the splitter off and ran just one cable to the living room TV and all channels pick up clear.
