Does anyone else watch the Discovery ID channel?

The wife and I can typically agree to watch anything on ID when we can find nothing else on TV. We watch it fairly frequently in fact - and due to the subject matter I may have reason to be getting somewhat nervous.
But anyway, just wondering if we're strangely unique or if there are others out there with a habit of turning it on. I put this in the bucket of Forensic Files - when nothing else is on, I tune in. Occasionally it can get repetitive, but not too much.

Its the most "bingeable" channel on TV.
True crime is awesome. I do hate the bad re-enactment ones though.

Whenever I hear Bill Kurtis narrating anything, I stop channel surfing.

I used to watch it all the time. Nowadays, I still watch every now & then, but...I dunno, maybe I just tune in at the wrong time, but I remember the programs being much darker & grittier than they are now. That's not to say shows about murder aren't dark, but they're too..."mainstreamy", if that makes sense?

Danny LaPlant - WTF!!!!!
I remembered reading this story in that other thread on the OT...Even worse watching it unfold.

If my wife isn't watching that channel, she's watching some sort of Law and Order.
I notice that the reenactment actors are always much more attractive than the actual criminals on those ID shows.

That's pretty much my go to channel when nothing else is on elsewhere.

I'll be honest, Lt. Kenda scares the bajeebus out of me. They just had a new series about crimes of the 80s. Loved that.

I'll watch Dateline on ID and OWN. Forensic Files is still a good one

Used to watch it a lot. I used to watch On the Case with Paula Zahn, 48 Hours, Dateline, Behind Mansion Walls, The Will and a couple others I've forgotten.
These were the two I forgot about.

Supposedly, they are going to make new episodes of foresnic files.
they can't make new episodes without the original narrator. I only know it's forensic files when his pedophile sounding voice is talking to me.

That episode with the homeowners who found a 55 gallon drum in their new house and moved it out to the curb for the garbage man... Only to find that a corpse had been decomposing in the chemicals within for thirty years.
In 1999, a house in Nassau County, New York was purchased by Hamid Tafaghodi. Tafaghodi insisted previous owner Ronald Cohen[3][4] remove a 55-gallon drum that had been seemingly abandoned in the crawl space. On September 2,[4] Cohen noticed a note from the sanitation department that said they could not pick it up due to its weight, so he and a real estate agent[3] opened the drum to discover a human hand and a woman's shoe.[4]
