I think this movie was ahead of its time in some respects. Concussions to be specific. They made a big deal of it.

Also think it was sort of realistic in regards to the egos.

Overall it's ok. Best football movie they ever put out not centered around a single player or documentary.

Pachino has a Bill Parcells and Tom Coughlin thing going. More Parcells than anything.

I enjoyed it but Foxx's character was a prick till the end.

Don't think it was wrapped up well

Easy. Pacino at the peak of his screaming rants.

Oliver Stone's play by play in the booth bordered on embarrassing.

I actually don't understand the love for this movie. It was terrible.

The movie was ok. It's overdone and cliche. The acting was bad. I can't believe people say Pacino's speech is one of the best in film

I want his jambalaya recipe

I like the movie, but I've never said it's great. I can watch it for a while on TV and be entertained.

I use to love this film back in the day, but upon repeat viewings, it's just awful.

is there a worse "great" actor than Pacino?

I don't think that Any Given Sunday is a very good movie. As has been said it is very cheesy with pretty bad acting. I still enjoy catching a few minutes of it in the middle of the offseason to quench my thirst for football.

The movie is a nice way to be reminded of LT between his crack smoking days and his jerking off to underage prostitutes days.

I didn't like it. I thought the only well played character was Dian's character. Pacino speech at the end was not good and I'm a huge Pacino speech fan. His tone during that speech, specifically the head on a swivel, turned me off of that speech
