I'm sure it has. I just had this argument with a friend who claimed it doesn't count as a Christmas movie because the focus of the film isn't Christmas.

I disagreed.

You can classify it as a Christmas movie, because it takes place at Christmas. But no... Christmas Vacation is the best Christmas movie ever made. I mean how can you beat Eddie standing outside in his long johns " shitters full" classic!

I will give best Christmas action movie though.

Sue: I've always had a thing for Santa Claus. In case you didn't notice. It's like some deep-seeded childhood thing.
Willie: So is my thing for tits.

Willie: No shite! It was real, but I got sick and all the hair fell out.
Kid: How come?
Willie: I loved a woman who wasn't clean.
Kid: Mrs. Santa?
Willie: No it was her sister.

Kid: Candy corn?
Willie: Well they all can't be winners!

I was thinking about watching this tonight.

It does count. Wouldn't say it's the best but it's on my personal top 10 for my Christmas movies.

My top 3 of my fav. movies.

I watched it tonight on Amazon. I was saying the lines before the actors did. Maybe I've seen it enough.

I do the exact same thing! I've had the DVD for years and before that I had it on Laserdisc.
