Did George Lucas write all the dialogue between Han Solo and Leia?

Their exchanges were by far the worst part of a pretty good movie. The dialogue was so bad that it was painful to watch them together on-screen. Thankfully Abrams kept their interaction to the very minimum because it just didn't work.

Han was originally supposed to say "I love you", but Ford demanded they change it to "I know".

Because Carrie Fisher is a crack whore who fricked her way to a decent role 37 years ago.

So edgy and mature.

I thought Harrison Ford was fine. Fisher's scenes, however, were cringe worthy.

She was better than I expected, but compared to the rest of the cast she was very noticeable. Her facial expressions were actually decent, but her spoken word was...we'll say rough to be nice.
Out of the major stars, she was the worst, and Boyega behind her. Though he really seemed to get the rhythm of the character in the third act. He was appreciably better imo. He will be good to go moving forward.
In regards to Ford. He comes across as old at times, and yes I realize some of it was by design, but some of it wasnt. He can still act but he doesn't have the energy, nor presence, he once did. However, in certain scenes he really showed us what he is capable of. He was fairly magnificent in the third act, minus his interactions with Fisher. Similar to Boyega having to find the character(which by the way, is a beautiful simile to the character he is playing), Ford seemed like he was in an old suit that didn't quite fit in a few early moments.
For the record, I loved it. This is the first Star Wars I've ever seen in theaters(29). I choked up in spots, I wanted to curse in spots, and I laughed in spots. Star Wars felt good again. I can only imagine what the OT was like for children at the time, but I hope they felt what I did 100x over when watching TFA.
As Han said. "We're Home"

SPOILERS
The sunovabitch is in his 70s - I thought he looked pretty damn good. Even though they killed him off, I'm glad they at least showed Han's been kicking arse for the last 30 years. I was afraid he would be a true shell of his former self

I did say I realized it was partly by design.
Spoiler again
I'm wondering if he asked them to kill him off because of his age, when they told him they needed him in it.

¡SPOILERS!
How was it all that surprising that Han dies? These movies and stories always have the old, wise mentor getting killed. Solo was the obvious choice for that, on top of Ford's actual age.

Ford wanted to be killed off in 6. No way he would have done another two movies.

Spoils are below here.
And here.
Here too.
Almost there.
It was never that surprising? Kinda saw it coming even without the reddit Star Wars spoilers page. My only comment was in regards to his age.
Can't say it doesn't suck though.

quote:it was because he was the highest paid actor in the movie. they don't want to pay him that number again for Episode VIII.
