I don't like the risks that Dexter is taking.... Putting up someone that is crazy in a hotel, expecting them to stay in the room, and progamming your number in a cell phone. If Travis is busted, not a whole lot of wiggle room

this whole season has been quite ridiculous.

I'm telling you, the writers are simply laughing at us all. And REALLY hard after this week's absurd episode.

I think Travis keeps dex in the basement and dex doesn't show up to work. Final show, cops bust Travis and Dexter has some explaining to do.

I think Travis is such a schizho that he probably blacks out during his psycho religious killing then doesn't really remember doing it. When Dexter found him on the floor he had just Tyler Durdened himself. He wakes up, doesn't remember anything, then lets Dexter out. Now Dex is confronted with the moral dilemma that Travis is not a bad person, hes got a mental illness.

He had a pretty evil smile for not remembering

I agree. For a few episodes this season I thought the writers might be going somewhere, but then they went right back to being stupid. Why couldn't Dex and his brother have had some more fun before they yanked Brian back out of Dex's mind. While the series has always had a second story line I don't care about, this season has 4 story lines I don't care about.

I don't know man, I've kind of enjoyed his flameout as a detective. Besides, the way he is headed, he is going to frick up big time soon and cost somebody their job or life

I agree. it seems pointless, but i am sure it will somehow tie-in to the main story line (or turn into something more significant) at the end of the season.

True, but why did Travis kill him and keep his body in a freezer? How did he kill his sister, did he actually do the paintings? Could he have an accomplish?

I think that there has to be a second person. Remember when the girl was let go by Travis and interviewed in the hospital? She said that she had heard two different voices. That tells us right there that there is somebody else involved.

And we know that Gellar wasn't around at this time because the writers said he was merely a figment of Travis' imagination at the time of the second murder when the girl he banged was strung up like an angel

Truth...intern is involved. He's too nice to be a genuinely nice guy. And then there's the creepiness of him being the one that bought the hand off of ebay.

I don't remember exactly, but how close was the first time Travis saw Dexter and when the creepy intern became the intern.
