If you really look at it, this is one of the craziest films of all-time.
Part 70s Chainsaw horror, part 70s porn, part Martin Scorsese, part john Wayne Cowboys and Indians, part Clockwork Orange, part Nazi sexploitation, part I spit on your grave, part classic western, part Pelham 123, Part Dragnet, part Dirty Harry.
They could never make this movie today.
It would be rated X or PG depending on the editing - it includes every range of the spectrum.
It's the epitome of 70s cinema.
Just a movie all over the place.

The original Death Wish was always one my favorite movies as a kid growing up in the 70's. I remember when it would come on the ABC Sunday night movies.

Just listened to a long interview with him on WTF with Marc Maron. That dude is as odd (in a nice way) as his characters. He really talks in that sing-songy style.
