Really? Critics or the general public are saying it LOOKS great? I havent seen it so I didnt say it WAS horrible, just that it looks horrible. In the "Revenant" this weekend, after this preview aired I think the general consensus and tone of the people that were in the theatre was "wow, that looks pretty terrible." I honestly thought almost everyone in this thread would have agree and Im kind of surprised that it's getting this much love.

Collider film podcast was blowing their load over deadpool today. Few guys said it was their favorite superhero film.

All the YouTube reviews I've seen so far say the movie is awesome.. trying to keep my expectations in check but I'm getting pretty pumped to see it!

I saw Reynolds on Jimmy Fallon and he said he has been trying to get this movie made for 11 years?! That's incredible.

I never knew Reynolds was that involved. Very cool. He was so appreciative and humble about it, too. He kept talking about the story and how the writers did a great job. He's so funny, too. #BroCrush #MoveOverRyanGosling #...jk

It's been floating around for a while before this was green lit that he was trying hard for years to get this going. He has worked harder on this than anyone else.
To me, it just feels like he put everything on the line for this movie. His career, public opinion, everything.

I think he meant during the time it took to get this movie going. Ryan Reynolds was hot for a minute but he sure did fall off for a while at one point. This puts him back in the upper echelon right meow.

My girlfriend wants to take me to see it for Valentine's day so unfortunately I have to wait an additional 2 days...but on the flip side I will be balls deep in popcorn, beer, and deadpool...and her...eventually lol. Some guys out there are going to blow an enormous amount of money and not be half as lucky.

Thinking about it, I would have to agree. He was hot for a minute years ago and then just kind of faded.
