And there goes your credibility.

Say what?

Spiderman 2 is one of the best comic book movies ever. And the first one was great too. Think about when those movies came out and explain how you not only disagree, but so much so that you dismiss my "credibility" as well.

I don't, but that's just because I'm not a huge Spidey fan. Never really have been.

It was pretty meh. Not sure his jokes will transfer to the screen, like they do in the comic book.

And ryan reynolds. He is ok, but he turns in crapstar performances regularly. And deadpool is a difficult character to get right. in the comic, he is legit crazy. Not I want to be a smartass crazy.

Ryan Reynolds is a perfect actor for it

I understand the hate for Reynold's style. I like him, but he does play too many roles as a slightly different version of Van Wilder.

That being said. He is literally the perfect actor for this role. I've been trying to think if there is anyone else who could be almost as good, the same, or better, and I got nothing. He has the physicality for the role, I mean, his frame is perfect for Deadpool. He has proven chops as an action actor, and his delivery of one liners is how I've always pictured Deadpool sounding. I can't think of anyone else that would fit the character as well as him.

To top it all off. He is a fan, and he desperately wants this to be good. Especially after the debacle that was the Green Lantern. Where he did everything he could to decently act a terrible script.

And I love the one liner in the trailer where he alludes to it.

"Just don't make the supersuit Green! Or Animated!"

Also, its not all jokes. At Comic Con they said there some scenes where he had to take the character, and himself to do it, to a very dark place mentally.

Me, that shite was awful. Willem Defoe couldn't save it from Tobey McGuire.

Some asshat throwing around "crediblity" statements.

And I'd love to see what the Rotten Tomatoes scores were for SM and SM2 circa 2005 or so, before the gigantic influx of comic movies really hit its stride.

Did anybody notice that Deadpool's eyes are CG? Interesting idea to bring out the funny facial expressions on his face. May be an interesting new trend to make characters wearing masks more expressive.

Yes, obviously.

And I just looked and it's fricking 93% on RT. Someone's credibility is suspect in here, and it's not mine.

I think this movie was made more for the fans of Deadpool rather than trying to bring in a larger audience...

I mean if it draws in more than the target audience, the producers will be more than happy (the more money the better).

I think this movie is probably going to surprise a lot of people in the box office with the amount of support it is going to pull.

Probably will be a cult classic
