Feels like it’s been forever. Hopefully there’s some payoff this season cause the last season was depressing.

I’m about to start it. Love this show. He’s been saying he has music in the chamber during his press tour. I hope we get an album soon.

Severely underrated show
Great start to the season
When he shot the concrete bust like a basketball the superfan gave him.. I was dying laughing.. he really didn’t think it would break
Also the Campbell chick was pretty sexy with the accent
Then the pissing cum scene.. I haven’t laughed that hard at a tv scene since the milking table . I was hyperventilating laughing

But the season finished strong though, even if it is sort of depressing.
As for this season, I watched E1 last night and liked it a lot. I like that Dave is actually getting some on the reg, but isn't really happy about it.
And man, the sex scene in the beginning is about as graphic as you can get for cable.
And yeah, Campbell was fiya. Damn.
ETA: I think the episode I am talking about from S2 is The Observer.

I’ve gone back and rewatched the wedding episode from season 2 a few times since it came out.
Check that: that was from season 1. My bad.
Season 2 was pretty forgettable overall
And these first 2 eps from season 3 were way better than anything from season 2

Finished my rewatch last night. Thought S3 started tonight, didn't realize it already dropped.
S2 ending was incredible but overall S1 was just on another level comedy wise. I think Dave and Ally being together made the difference. They were such a perfect couple. Dave's funniest lines/scenes were with her. Man I really really hope they get back together in S3 but I figure that's going to be hard to do with him on tour.

Am I the only one here that actually preferred the weirdness of season 2 over the more straightforward nature of season 1?

I almost mailed it in after the first couple episodes last season, it got waaaay gay. Glad I stuck it out because the rest of the season was great

Yes. Season 2 was much worse overall than season 1. Last few episodes were good though.
