Which guy out of these two do you think is the better actor and what's your favorite movie from each?

Let me try...

Danny Glover played in Honeydripper which was directed by John Sayles

John Sayles wrote a script for an unproduced film called Night Skies which inspired the what would eventually become Spielberg's E.T.

Steven Spielberg made Jurassic Park 1 and 2 and was an executive producer for Jurassic Park 3

William H Macy played a big role is Jurassic Park 3

Wow! They are related!

they both began their acting careers in the late 70's. They are around the same age and have appeared in around the same amount of movies. I also think they are probably equally talented. Glover was the first to come to mind and I tried to think of a good one to compare him with and I came up with Macy. Can you think of another actor that would be a better comparison with Glover?

Well Danny Glover was in Lonesome Dove. Macey was in Fargo. Mmm. Tuffy.
I'll go Lonesome Dove.

I like both, and I had to think about this one awhile.

I think I'll take Glover. He's got pretty good range. Think about how quiet and likeable he was in Lonesome Dove, and what a big time a-hole he was in the Color Purple.

Glover in a fight.

Macy in an acting coontest.

Glover in a yodeling contest.

Hard to believe I said Macy would win the coontest.

I like Glover, but Macy is one of my favorite actors.
I loved him in "Edmond," "Magnolia," and of course - his masterpiece "Fargo."

Before Glover turned into a liberal nut, he was a favorite of mine with Silverado, Lethal Weapon and Predator 2.

Macy has always been like meh. I can't think of too many of his roles that any other twerp couldn't have done equally well.
