Great episode.

In a text chain now from a parent group. We all moved. Tried to remove myself once - got texts asking if I was ok.

Not that they text all the time but happens if I’m in a meeting, 10pm, or someone holding up a drink. Annoying.

Freakin’ hate that chain. I get Larry. I get it.

In an hilarious episode, this gag had me going the best. It's so true.

I loved how just getting a text during the course of his day would completely set him off....some b.s. inspirational meme would leave him cussing and pissed off. Same here lol. So easy to just ignore, but for some reason it's just infuriating and triggers an emotional response.

Dumbass parents from the fall youth soccer team had a text thread going. The season was finished in early November and I’ll likely never see these people again, yet they kept texting through the holidays and this bitch woman would go on and on about missing everyone. Truly bizarre. Finally removed myself from it

That's what I was wondering. I didn't think much of that episode

I think you're supposed to infer that Suzie punched him when she found out they switched the POA

I assume that Susie gave it to him when she found out what he and Larry did.

they must have really wanted Richard Lewis in this final season. They are basically wheeling him around as if he's a E.T. puppet or animatronic. Dude couldn't even turn his head or really emote at all in his final days. Kinda feel bad for him, but at the same time at least he was able to go out doing something he enjoyed rather than being laid up in a hospice bed or something.

I disagree. I thought the last few episodes, including this one, are examples of why I love this show. Even when they telegraph the joke, it almost makes the joke better.

My only gripe, and it really does not matter in the scheme of things, is Larry's lack of explanation to his lawyer on why the cheese was in Suzie's fridge. That is the whole point of the transaction. Larry asked to keep it there and even explained when he would pick it up. This is one of the few examples where either Larry is 100% right or 100% wrong, and it takes away from the humor. Nobody is going to side with Suzie once you break it down. Also, the show sort of contradicted itself. 15 minutes earlier she ripped the sandwich out of Jeff's hand. Now, she is making him a melt?

yeah, the inconsistencies are a little glaring sometimes.

My only guess is that, because they are improvising everything, it can be easy to forget things. Also, if they are filming shite out of order, I could imagine it playing out something like this:

-Films scene where Larry confronts the Greenes about the cheese. Susie Essman is improvising and randomly thinks up a use for the cheese and throws out the "melt" line.

-later, they film scene where Larry offers Jeff the sandwich. Susie Essman thinks it would be funny to be a hardass and deprive Jeff of the sandwich.

I'd imagine once they go down a line of improvised dialogue they are trying to make it as funny as possible without too much regard for some of the details, which is fine ultimately

I just assumed Suzie hit him when she found out the Power of Attorney went to Larry.

I thought it was funny. I agree with the above posters about the inconsistencies, but didn’t really bother me.

In keeping with the parallels to Seinfeld’s final season, I thought Larry and Jeff’s take on the height of the double-zipper was a nod to the placement of the second button making or breaking a shirt.

Conan hitting Larry with the keys had me rolling. But, any physical comedy Larry does gets me every time.

Yeah….its a tough listen for me tbh. I have listened to every episode but probably won’t continue. I can only listen to Jeff say “my wife of yore” so many times.
