Ftr, he's not a Brit, he's a Scot who became an American citizen. Actually did a pretty cool episode of his old show devoted to the process of becoming a citizen and why it was important to him.

I DVR'd this. Groundskeeper WIllie and Trainspotting make me give Scots the benefit of the doubt so I will watch at least a couple of episodes.

I just listened to his appearance on the Nerdist podcast and he was great. Not 50 minutes of funny, just very well spoken and well versed in what he was talking about. but he does have plenty of funny moments.

I wanna check the show out. I like Craig Ferguson, think he kinda got the shaft when Letterman left -- although he had a deal in his contract that if Letterman left and he didn't get the Late Show gig, he would get $8 million. So he didn't get THAT much of the shaft. It seems to me he would do great hosting a Larry King or Charlie Rose type talk show on CNN....have him talking to news makers, authors, people who are doing more than just pitching the movie they're in .

Craig's late show was awesome, and boy can he talk to the ladies. Unfortunately I have to say the first two episodes were just terrible. You're gonnna have to bring in more than one interesting guest per episodes and pick some better topics.
