I've been rewatching Season 1 the past couple of nights. Just finished Episode 7. God this makes the ADWD Jon Janos beheading scene so much more satisfying. Janos is such a sack of shite, frick him. Jon killing him is probably the most satisfying scene in the series, and rewatching Episode 7 highlights that even more.

What would you say to a Jon Snow/Val relationship?

I'm perfectly content with the Jon Val relationship happening. I think Jon deserves another shot at love for sure.

I hope they don't frick up Tormund's character and give him a lot more screentime in the next 2 seasons. He's one of my favorite secondary characters and he gets along well with Jon, which is important for future books/seasons. Plus I enjoy his banter.

Dany's storyline is hopefully not going to take away valuable screentime from the Wall and King's Landing. Otherwise I'm going to be super pissed off.

I'm wondering if there's truth to the theory you had about Sansa being served Robb's head at the wedding feast? She looks like she's crying there and Tyrion is trying to console her. Or do you think that scene is before the Purple Wedding, perhaps in Episode 1? Tyrion consoling her after Robb's death maybe?

Arya and the Hound . Really looking forward to their storyline this season and to what they add to it. Really curious how they're going to handle the 'farewell' of those two characters; if they're going to keep the part when the Hound goads Arya into killing him and saying he should've fricked Sansa bloody and ripped her heart out.

Oh, and frick Daario. Hate him. Terrible character and hope he dies a terrible death in TWoW.

I fully expect Victarion to geld the womanizing man-whore, and at Tyrion's insistence feed his manhood to the goats.

Then Jorah can kill him.

Honestly, I found this scene last season where Tyrion and Sansa are having an actual pleasant conversation a bit distracting from how it was in the novels ( LINK), and I'm just guessing that's a meal they'll have together in the first episode to show that Sansa has completely cut Tyrion off since the Red Wedding.

I hope they find a way to have the "Gold on the North Shore, or Steel on the South" scene.

I found that scene to be out of character for Sansa. I blame the writers.

Definitely think after the scene in the finale when Tyrion finds her crying that she'll want nothing to do with him, even though Tyrion had nothing to do with the Red Wedding, but he's a Lannister. No idea how they'll have Dontos bring her to Littlefinger either because we all knew they were meeting in the Godswood in the books.

Target's website has a sneak peak at the Battle of Quhor special feature from the History of Westeros. I'm sure someone will upload the new S3 Histories of Westeros on youtube when the bluray is released in 2 weeks.

Definitely agree that we need a GoT countdown on here. Hodors may get mad though.

Getting tired of pandering to a group of people who are too lazy to open a book. I was a Hodor for all of 5 days before I received my books and went to town. Especially from any of them that say "I can't wait I'll next season." Really, you can't wait? Well how about you hop on down to your local bookstore pick up the books and put that Dr. Seuss reading level of yours to the test before you mention not being able to wait.

Each of the first 4 books took me two weeks/book last year to read. I couldn't put them down. However, ADWD took me 3 months to read because of grad school and because I knew Fat Man wouldn't have TWoW out for another 2 years, so there was no rush to finish it/it's not as if both TWoW and ADoS were out to read.

Also, I already knew about everything that was going to happen in ADWD because I had read the AWOIAF and was spoiled on everything in ADWD. I couldn't resist; once I found out about Jon getting stabbed I had to know everything else . That's mainly why I want to do that Boiled Leather reread soon--because I know that combining AFFC and ADWD will probably help with the pacing and make the storyline more streamlined.
