Could the three eggs from Dunk & Egg be the same that were given to Dany?
I don't think all of them are the same. They have different descriptions but I think Lord Butterwell's egg matches Dany's black egg description.
Dany's eggs
1). Deep green, with burnished bronze fleck that came and went depending how you turn it.
2). Pale cream streaked with gold.
3). Black, as black as a MIDNIGHT sea, yet alive with scarlet ripples an swirls.
Aerion Targaryens egg is gold and silver with veins of fire
Aegon Targaryens egg is white and green, all swirly
Lord Butterwalls egg is said to have fine red scales covering its surface, shining bright as jewels by the of lamps and candles... The scales were smooth and deep, rich red seemed to shimmer as its turned. BLOOD and FIRE with gold flecks and whirls of MIDNIGHT BLACK.
Elaena Targaryen's egg matches Viserion's egg (pale cream with gold). GRRM described the notable Targaryens and he described her egg.

* fixed the quote error on previous post.
polizei is correct. Out of the three eggs Dani had, only one resembled the other eggs we know about. But none were the two "lost eggs"

Well, I was trying to come up with a crackpipe theory about Wylla Manderly being Ned Stark's bastard daughter.
Something along the lines of her hair being dyed green to mask her identity. With her mother being the Fisherman's Daughter. Especially with the way that Wylla spoke up so earnestly about remaining loyal to the Starks.
Then I realized:
Fisherman's Daughter => "Did Ned Stark father you on some fishwife?" => Fishwife => Fish => Herring => Red Herring
Nice one, GRRM. Really nice.

I think Illyrio was trying to take Viserys and Dany out of the picture completely
Didn't Ilyrio give the Dragon eggs to Danny? Doesn't seem lke someone who he would be trying to eliminate.

I think it's more along the lines of Varys and Illyrio trying to get both Daenerys and Aegon (Blackfyre) on the throne. I bet they plan on them getting married and combing the Blackfyre and Targaryen lines.

Didn't join up with Yoren. He was taken from the dungeons as prisoner to the wall. Then he stuck around to repay a debt to Arya for freeing him. After which he disappears until we see him at Oldtown, before Aemon is even headed that way.
That true but he was in there by choice almost definitely no way the gold cloaks put him there as incompetent ad they are unless of course he was willing

Yeah. He's good at that. That and foreshadowing.
And you could say the same for the comment about Jon's milk brother. Any chance that Wyalla's child was the one swapped for Aegon and she also nursed his blood brother Jon?

I thought the Dayne kid was younger?

We all know the price to hire a faceless man is high as hell. What did Euron pay to have Balon killed?
His dragon egg
ETA frick, just saw that others had said it

I think Jon is 14 in the books and Edric is 12. But the same woman could've nursed them at different times making them milk brothers.

It fits within the story. Edric Dayne seemed to think Wylla was Jon's mom, so she must have been pregnant around the right time.
@NIH: Edric Dayne was 12 when he met Arya in the story. But I think we are talking about different babies.

I am. Like you said, I think she was pregnant at the same time she nursed Jon. I just wondered is it was even feasible that her real baby could've been involved in one of our super swap sweepstakes.

Oh and something that's been interesting to me is that Edric Dayne's nickname is Ned (per his ASOIAF wiki). No idea what significance that has if any at all, but just kind of interesting.

I just figured that he was named after Ned Stark with a little dornish spin.
Edric-Eddard = Ned-Ned. Makes sense to me. Now why a Dayne is named after Eddard Stark is better question considering he killed Ser Arthur Dayne

Brandon & Ashara Dayne?

That damn "Ned" nickname for Edric Dayne had me for the longest time. I thought the Stark bastard had finally been revealed. Too bad the kid is too young...
...or is he?
Who fricken knows. GRRM and his damn misdirection.

Brandon & Ashara Dayne?
Brandon died seven years before Edric was born....
Now she could have named him someone elses kid after Ned in honor of the Starks, but why not name him Brandon, Bran or something along those lines?
I don't think thats the reasoning

Ashara died before Edric was born as well.
I find it a bit mysterious that GRRM would give us no information on the parents of Ned Dayne. Not a bit surprised through.
We actually don't know much about any of the Daynes. And yet, they are one of the most interesting Houses.
The Daynes are like the Boba Fetts of Westeros.
