Sucked donkey balls. Watch The Enfield Hauting, if you want to see that tripe done right.

Cannot believe they would follow such a damned good movie with such BS (taking the name on to get people in the theatres).

thought it was pretty good. didn't care of some of the "crooked" effects though.

Haven't seen it, but I thought the first was overrated.

The crooked man wasn't cgi. He was played by Javier Botet

James Wan tweeted this about him:

quote:

I've seen a few critics refer to a #Conjuring2 character as CGI or stopmotion, but is in fact played by the incredible, & very real, @jbotet

.@jbotet creates amazing movements with his body. Like a living, jittery, stop-motion puppet, at 6'7". All done in-camera. #Conjuring2

I thought it mildly interesting but too long and the ending was meh. Plus the old man was lame. The nun was terrifying though.

Thought it was a solid horror movie sequel. Not as scary as the first but overall a solid movie.

have a down vote. Enfield haunting was meh. Conjuring 2 was not as good as first but still entertaining

as was this, but I don´t believe that movie was billed as something of value.

Correct

To each his own, but it definitely was subpar and a ripoff.

Insidious, Sinister and Babadook were all better.

Did you really just say the Babadook?

That movie was pure comedy and had little to zero horror in it.

I prefer horror movies that don't pretend things like this are real but psychological with the protagonist.

No it didn't. Not even close. It was actually really well done and has been well received by critics and fans. So while your opinion isn't wrong, it is stupid

All three of those movies listed, plus the 2 Conjuring films, are very good horror movies. It's okay to like other movies in addition to the three listed.

All 5 movies pale in comparison to the genius that was The Witch

You trolls don't even try that hard anymore. Yeah, Babadook was just hilarious.

I went and saw it this past weekend and really enjoyed it. The nun was creepy as shite. The actors that portray the Warrens, regardless of how they were in real life, are very likable in the roles they portray.

The special effects were good, in my opinion, and two scenes legit made me jump, so it's always nice going to to a horror movie that makes you jump and then chuckle afterward.

I just found it to be a solid, well-done movie; and that's so rare for a big release horror flick

Not to mention I liked the Amityville beginning and that she saw the creepy ghost boy from what may be the best image of a ghost captured:
