Me sad. I think this is one of the most under appreciated shows of all time.

Incredible show. Amazing it survived the bullshite that went on behind the scenes

As a latecomer to the show, I didn't know about the bullshite until well into Season 5, and my immediate (now sustained) thought was, "Wow, that douchebag had a good show in him. Too bad they let him come back to shite all over it."

Cliffs? I'm not familiar with any drama/conflicts in getting the show made. Huge fan of the show though. They weren't all winners, but a lineup of Community's 20 best episodes might be able to compete with any comedy out there

As I found out, Dan Harmon is the man who created it, and he has a large, cult-like following. He was fired from the show after Season 3, and everyone with their head up his arse shite all over Season 4 and hailed his rehiring as the greatest victory in the history of the universe and Seasons 5 and 6 as the return of the king. I OTOH thought Season 4 was good with several excellent episodes, while Seasons 5 and 6 fell almost completely flat and were a real chore to get through. A couple of memorable Fat Neil jokes and Pierce's bequeathments were good moments in a sea of mediocrity and worse.

I just watched the first episode (first 4 actually) of this show today. It's good. What had gotten me intrigued about it was the guy in the new show Atlanta.

Oh boy, you couldn't be more wrong. Season 4 was the worst season by far of the series. I'd agree that seasons 5 and 6 weren't aS good as 1-3 but what else would you expect? They lost Donald Glover and Chevy.

I don't think Dan understood how integral they were to the show

I think he had to know losing Donald was going to be a big blow but I think he was probably sick of Chevy's shite and was not too upset about not having to deal with him.

I never knew this show existed until I watched that Netflix show with Britta in February this year (I remember reading the thread about that show on this board and wondering who the frick Britta was).

Binged the whole series in a few weeks. It struck the perfect balance of comedy, hot chicks, nerdiness, and character development. I love it and look forward to a rewatch at some point.

Oh, andamovie.

Great show. Should have been put on Netflix while it was still on TV. I feel like that would have blustered its ratings.
