I always thought Oscar was needlessly maligned. I've seen it 5 or 6 times and really enjoy it.

I still can't believe that this clown got a Supporting actor nomination despite being in only like 3 scenes, and his scenes have absolutely no replay value whatsoever. That was the low point for the Globes, and they've had shitty nominees for a while now.

Yeah, I just thought the exchange between Robert Downey Jr. and everyone in the jungle was hilarious. The Tom Cruise bits were forced for sure. I don't take comedies too seriously though.

I typically hate blockbuster comedies that others recommend... Kung Pow is always my default answer for a movie that just strikes me as hilarious while others I know say it's a spoof on par with shite that Seltzer and Friedberg make (which isn't even close to a fair comparison no matter how bad Kung Pow might be).

I only saw about five minutes of Kung Pow and thought it was dumb, maybe I'll see the whole thing. I usually like stupid cheap comedies like Run Ronnie Run, too.

Walk Hard is a fricking classic. It's basically like Anchorman, it gets better and better with repeated viewings.

It absolutely is dumb. I probably wouldn't like it as much if I saw it today for the first time, but I was about 13.

+1. I didn't like it that much the first time I saw it but it is unbelievably rewatchable. Probably my favorite Broken Lizard movie now.

Another movie that gets better with repeated viewings is Observe and Report, which I didn't care for the first time I saw it and love it now.

"What are yall doing in here?"

"I want some of that shite!"

Who doesn't like "World's Greatest Dad"? Not like many have seen it, but it's at 88% on RT and I loved it. I think someone here had that picture of the douchebag son that kept popping up as an avatar. (Couldn't believe it was written by Bobcat Goldwaith.)

A guy I worked with in college told me it was the worst movie he had ever seen. But he was a complete failure at life . . . .so . . . .

I can see how one would hate the hokey sketches, but the commentary itself is brilliant. I guess some people just aren't compatible with snark.
