LINK

so its Abrams for 7, Rian Johnson for 8, and CT for 9.

interesting choice, I'd say...still riding the Jurassic World tidal wave.

Why not keep Abhrams for all three? I kind of thought it was going to be his trilogy.

Yea, so each one is going to have a different look and feel to it?

The OT had 3 different directors and was mostly consistent.

I like Trevmorrow. SNG is a good film I like a lot. Jurassic World was wildly successful.

It's interesting choices too. I feel like Rian is better suited for an "Empire" so it works out pretty well.

So it looks like the first 2 in the Trilogy will be fantastic while the last will be a disappointment....I've heard this before somewhere....

It's amazing that Trevorrow was able to parlay a small indie dramedy into directing two of the biggest franchises of all time.

His career arc is nuts. From an indie to one of the most successful films of all time, then Star Wars.

Was really hoping for Whedon.
