Saw the movie yesterday and I really liked it.
I read online that it was derived from a t.v. series. Is the series just as good?

You are about to be inundated with stupidly high praise for a decent movie.

Nominated for best screenplay and best cinematography, sitting at 93% on rottentomatoes, so a lot of people disagree with you.

Not sure about the series but if you haven't seen City of God yet you must see it soon.

One of the best I've seen.

I saw City of God too and I like it a lot, but I think I may like City of Men better.
City of God has more action and violence, but the storyline seemed choppy at times.

I read it as Children of Men. Never even heard of City of Men. Looking on IMDB, it doesn't appear to have any relation to City of God except for the setting.
