That cat in the box scene always cracks me up. I'm not sure how they did that unless they put a damned cat in the box.

Bought the DVD the other day.

Clark -"Art, dad, thanks for being here."

Art -"The little lights. They’re not twinkling."

Clark -"I know Art and thanks for noticing."

The little lights are not twinkling

I simply solved the problem. We needed a coffin...er, a tree. There are no lots open on Christmas Eve; Lewis burned down my tree, so, I replaced it as best I could. Voila.

...and this: Happy Hanukkah

There are just so many great quotable scenes. Definitely my all-time favorite Christmas movie...

Just about every re-watch reveals something new to me. Whether it's small lines or whatever. This year I noticed Eddie's face the entire time Clark is asking for his boss as a Christmas present. He's listening so intently and then you can see when the idea hits him in his beautiful metal plated brain.

Clark; "my cousin, who's heart is bigger than his brain......."

Eddie; " I preciate that Clark"

Are you being serious? I can think of one way...

Have Chevy pretend something is in the box and add sound effects upon editing.

Eddie: I don't know if I oughta go sailin' down no hill with nothin' between the ground and my brains but a piece of government plastic.

Clark: Do you really think it matters, Eddie?

I can't stand the characters Uncle Lewis and Aunt Bethany. It ruins the last 1/4 of the movie for me to the point I can barely stand to finish it.

First part is great though

Aunt Bethany: Do you hear it? It's a funny squeaky sound.
Uncle Lewis: You couldn't hear a dump truck driving through a nitroglycerin plant.

I don't understand how anyone couldn't find these two characters hilarious.
