Not at all.
While having Zola in there could have been nothing but pure fan service, it would seem a little weird that he could last that long on super old tech in an abandoned bunker predicting what everyone will do only to blow himself up when Cap finds him.
HYRDA had somehow found a way to hook up a USB port to him so I would be surprised he wouldn't have thought to download his consciousness onto that memory stick so he can live in another computer.
I mean, all that planning and he had no escape ready?

I think the implication is that Pierce was using Zola. He says, "I already lost Zola" to WS. So he's wasn't off and then suddenly turned back on. He's part of it all along.

We should start a thread for Cap 3 ideas.
I wouldn't mind this, but Death of Captain America had everything to do with Civil War. There's no way they go down that path. Ok.....maybe. Ha. It allows for the exit of both RDJ and Evans. Like I said, Maybe Stan in Cap 4 or even Avengers 3 is fine by me. It's rare, outside of things like Star Trek and Bond, that you get someone for so many movies. Evans has been awesome.
The easy thing is to go the Death of Cap route, use WS as Cap for a movie, then....bring Cap out of science-y sleep like they did in the comics, but with a new actor. It allows a nice natural break.

Yep. If they want to go that route and continue to make Captain America movies sometime down the road. Maybe let it lie for a while, then do it after several years.

Did nobody else think that all those SHIELD agents were applying to the CIA and shite to infiltrate those agencies and continue to have their fingers and toes in all the spy organizations? And Nick Fury is going to Europe to keep stuff going over there? Seems like they're making SHIELD more into an infiltration type organization to be moles.
