Maybe heart is not enough. The hammer didn't return
to Thor until he sacrificed himself for others to the Destroyer, right? So maybe Captain America's sacrifice
during WW2 made him worthy of the hammer. Skinny Steve may not have been able to lift it.

I loved this movie. I am very pro Cap and I believe this is the most underrated comic book movie. It did so much for the MCU and set up the character better than any other cape flick.

Skinny Steve jumped on a grenade to protect his fellow recruits.
It was a dummy grenade but he was still willing to sacrifice his life to save others w/o even stopping to think about it.

It's not the act of sacrificing himself that makes him worthy, it's the humility and will to sacrifice himself that makes him worthy.
