I have netflix and we have a amazon prime account. I see a lot written about Hulu

If I have Netflix, do I need hulu? I noticed they have a lower fee with commercials and a higher monthly fee without.

Netflix seems to be more moving toward original content, while Hulu is about other television content. I think there's room for both.

I Have Hulu+, the commercials don't bother me enough to where I'm going to give them more money to drop the commercials

Hulu is great if you want to watch current TV without cable. Hulu has shows many of which it puts up almost as soon as they air, at most within a week. I love it. You can go browse Hulus website and see what all it offers, some free, some with subscription required.

Netflix is more movies and original content.

I've decided to go without cable now that I have Hulu and Netflix to compliment each other. Worth the investment in my opinion. You get full series instead of just the latest season like you do on demand. And you can get all of Showtimes content for an additional monthly fee

Yeah I have all 3 and upgraded to the commercial free option because it was just $4 more. Hulu's movies are actually getting better too.

Hulu has tons of great British shows, more than the other services. It's worth picking up for a month for Moone Boy and the wrong mans.

In terms of volume, both have a lot.

But Hulu has some of my favorite all time shows, specifically yes minister and Moone boy. It also has a lot of others that Netflix does not. Plus it has tons more classic dr. Who that I had been wanting to see.

Also all of Seinfeld.

Hulu's main benefit is for cord cutters. If you're still paying for cable/satellite you won't get much out of it, but if you have cut the cord, it's pretty essential to keep up with current shows.

Hulu has more current content than any of the others. Hulu also has some UK content not on other sites.

Hulu beat me. I was powering through a few series and the repititious commercials drove me near crazy so I bumped to premium to avoid commercials.

I was totally unaware that there is a commercial free Hulu option now. I subscribed back in college and that it was a total fricking rip off that I was paying to watch commercials.

May have to jump back on the wagon.
