He was on a Conan rerun last night. Like he usually does when he's on there, he rattled off a series of rambling, cliched, formulaic jokes. Anyone else would've been cut short, and probably not invited back...I don't know why, but for whatever reason, when Norm does it it's just fricking hilarious to me. Then, Conan will keep him on set for the next guest, and he'll usually save that guest from bombing just by "being Norm". Who else can pull off being like that?

He is one of kind man. One of those people that you just cant help but smile or laugh at regardless of what's happening. We need more Norm's in the world.

Because of his light-heartedness on shows like Conan, he's probably trolled a few people into checking out his stand-up material, only for them to be horrified at some of the topics he isn't afraid to cover

The Bob Uecker story that he tells Letterman was one of the funniest things Ive ever heard, but it wouldn't have been nearly as funny if Norm wasn't telling it in his special way.

If you get the chance to go see him live, do it.

This is Norm at his best. The timing on several of these is about perfect:

Yeah, that Courtney-Thorne Smith appearance was gold. Conan dared him, and he delivered, lol...

Probably the only time I've repeatedly watched a promo...Norm's infamous "ManGrate" ad read

As long as we're giving Norm props, I loved the first season of The Norm Show, and thought it had potential to be an all-time great. Unfortunately, the studio started tinkering with the show's formula (probably no fault of Norm), and the show went downhill the following season (although there were still some funny moments). What could've been...

nope, he's an original. I've seen him 3 times live and one of them was at Tulane where moron kids who didn't know who he was were heckling him, and he killed.

he's mastered the art of being a dick, but being really affable at the same time.

It's great. So brutal to do that with the woman sitting right next to him.

My favorite line from that show, when Norm takes a dog away from someone... (only funny when Norm delivers it)

Person: "You can't take my dog!"
Norm: I'm a social worker. I can take your CHILD."

Norm bombing on purpose at the roast of Bob Saget was incredible.
