I usually recognize actors from earlier in their career but this one did shock me.

Not sure, but he's a pretty cool dude and a very talented actor. Met him and his wife at a party in L.A. years ago not long after we had moved there from N.O. He spoke fondly of N.O. and we had a nice conversation. Saw him a couple of times after that and always liked him. Really admire his work, too.
