I'm not sure "epic" is the vibe I got from the trailer, but it sure seems like a cool idea, and a TON of work (assuming the actors had to do this gradually over a 12 year span).

Certainly looks interesting.

I think that I read that he shot it in 39 days total over the 12 years.

Wow, that's all?

And I meant in general to be tied to a single project for that long..even if it's only a few days/week every year. Seems like a fairly incredible commitment.

I just saw a review of the film. Guy said it was the best of the tear. The clips looked good. The idea is very intriguing. So far, it has only been released in 5 cities.

I really want to see this. It opens in wider release on July 18.

I will watch this one, looks interesting and like an interesting concept. It really is an amazingly long commitment for a child actor that wouldn't know whether he will want to be an actor or not in the long term.

Linklater and Hawke must be BFFs. Hawke has been in at least 5 or 6 of his movies.
