I was dying laughing when he had them all rednecks singing about treating them like saudis. The only way you don’t think it is funny is if you are a staunch conservative that can’t take a joke about some of the people in the political party. I felt like he did pretty good for how well known he is.

I'm watching it now and I'm having a hard time believing this is real.

The plastic surgeon saying he would hook up with the girl if her father wasn't there. wtf? Who does that while they are practicing? There's a camera in the room.

I suppose it's possible they did a lot of research and found a weak doctor but that was just crazy.

Just finished. Laughed through much of it although not like I did in the theater watching Borat.

The Running of the Americans had me rolling. Thought for sure they would name the woman runner Karen (or did I miss it?)

I posted this in the poli thread:

There's really nothing to get jimmies rustled about. It was way too scripted/staged compared to the original. There are some funny moments, but overall it missed the mark.

I did enjoy the running of the Americans.

I don't think I have ever been confused a conservative here, but I will say that...

Ugh, the edits are painfully bad. It's unfortunate because the opportunity was there for a rodeo scene like the first one. Some really great material looks like it was lost because people caught on. The dancing scene at the debutante dance was horribly cut.

The interactions seem really forced this time.

The daughter does an amazing job the whole time. She is a better Borat this time around.

Very close to turning this off. It's.... Kinda bad and hard to actually get through.

Couple of chuckles but yeah... First one is god tier compared to this one

Speaking of edits, unless I missed it they cut that scene where the daughter was riding on the roof of the car. Thought that was funny in the trailers

When the Trump prince grabbed Melania by the crum and danced i fricking died.

This movie is all over the place but its got about 8 big laugh out loud moments. Especially when he goes to the synagogue to die.

And he really just goes after the low hanging fruit, which should make it easier to laugh at.

I did really enjoy the segment with the 3 old Jewish ladies. They were good sports about jt all, though I’m sure they were in in the joke.

He broke character after recording the scene and told them why he was recording it. She passed away recently and he put a memorial at the end of the credits for her. Her daughter is suing him but it won't go anywhere

That would be my guess for many of these scenes.

I've never been a fan of Candid Camera/Cringe type comedies so I'm not their target audience. Some folks will love this and some folks will love to hate it.

I don't think it's that polarizing because it's just not that good. Didn't even finish it.

You felt like you knew where all the jokes were going because you've seen this before, when it was better and new.

I mean joke after joke of seemingly getting people to agree or not protest over wild statements about Jewish hatred gets old...about as old as prostitution and all those tired jokes from Part I.

He is a bit predictable from what I've seen of his original material.
