Spoiler Alert.......

So I thought that Eli was blind the whole time, but my friend didn't see it (pun totally intended). What are your thoughts? His other senses were enhanced and such.

it was obvious he was blind when the bible was in braille.

Yeh my buddy is an idiot. He kept trying to say he already knew the whole thing anyway.

Didn't know until the end, but reflectively there were a lot of hints about it but not obvious IMO.

I haven't seen the movie but I unsderstood it to be based on the story of the prophet Eli carrying the original Bible 10,000 miles and "even though he was blind not a hair on his head was harmed", or something to that effect.

Anyone know if this is correct?

Thanks. Is it worth watching? I almost got it at a redbox the other night, but I went with shutter island instead. I'm denzel fan so I'm thinking I'd like it

some sweet action sequences, good acting and cinematography, but there were some stretches of boredom in the middle. Average I would say, but the fact it's fairly original in this age of remakes sort of adds some interest.

The only bad part of the movie was that Mila Kunis didn't get nekkid :disappointed:

it was almost like 2 movies; first half all action and second half more spiritual/faith-based.

i liked it. you drop a few f-bombs from the movie and i think it would be appropriate for kids.
