Has anyone read 'One Year After' the sequel to 'One Second After'? If so, how was it? Same characters and location?
ETA - Just saw it doesn't come out until June 28th.
ETA2 - Paper back to be released in June; hardcover is currently out.

I really no idea where to post this. This board seems appropriate.

I'm halfway into it, and I'm beginning to lose interest. I saw the point of One Second After, as a wake up call for a very real and unguarded threat.
I was soured a bit when I read the foreword for One Year After, when the author stated that not much has been done to guard this country against the threat described in the first book since it came out in 2009.
I frankly find the book a bit disheartening because of that. I hope it does well, and serves as a wake up call to Congress.

How are you halfway into a book that comes out in June?

NM. Paperback is June. Hardcover was last Sept. Oops.

Good book, I read it on my Kindle a month or so ago. It's a little faster paced than One Second.
