Last week was the best episode since the pilot IMO. Nucky finally getting his hands dirty.

I'm tired of the Ms. Schroeder aspect of the show...the FBI guy seems to really want to beat off to her but instead decides to slap himself with a real life chasity belt. Strangeness.

I think he's in Opus Dei or something.

I started out really pumped....then got really bored...now I'm completely apathetic. This show needs to go somewhere this episode or I'm officially cutting bait and taking up the walking dead.

Wow. I am just amazed at what the writers and directors (Scorsese, Winter, Van Patten, etc.) are doing with this series.

What I love the most is that they are able to make several characters very rounded and while Buscemi/Nucky is the main character, there are so many others who we get to see so deeply into. Al Capone's character hit a turning point tonight; Nelson is obviously very tormented and is now coping like most do and ditching the ways of the Holy word; Rothstein shows that HE, in fact, is making terrible decisions and is showing his hand; Margaret is starting to see through Nucky; Chalky is probably the most hardcore character on the show (and why wouldn't Omar Little be?).

Jimmy seems to be the one character who I cannot put a grasp on. He is growing on me, too.

God, I cannot wait for the last episodes. I will hate to see this series go. I can only assume that it's a one and done.

Says a lot about your attention span. Tonight's episode was great. And while I enjoy The Walking Dead, it cannot hold a candle to Boardwalk Empire right now.

Treme did bore the hell out of me and went nowhere. This show is not like that at all. It's very very compelling. If you're bored with it, maybe that newer action movie with Stallone and all of the other action heroes of the 80's and 90's is more thou speed.

I must be out of the loop here. Why do you assume it's one and done?

I must say I'm fully invested in this show now. I'm what some might consider a cold hearted guy with little emotion, but I actually got wrapped up in the war veteran guy with face deformities.

I found myself upset when the kids were crying, and the poor guy felt bad about it. I'm glad they remedied it at the end. Great show so far, and I hope next season continues like this but takes a slightly quicker pace.

was really surprised to see the Fed go off the deep end like that. Thought he was gonna bust the joint when he walked in. But we did get to see her tits again!

The fed is a great character, I never really hated him. My guess is he becomes Nucky's man later down the road.

I love Jimmy's character. He is such a paradigm. One scene will show the cold blooded killer, and the next will show him with emotion and love.

This is by far one of the best series I've ever invested myself in.

The Fed has shown himself to be a sociopath in his own right this whole season while still thinking of himself as morally righteous. He tortured the witness to get evidence on Jimmy, his self-inflicted "pennance" for impure thoughts, and his obsession over Margaret have shown that even the "good guy" in this circumstance is, for lack of a better term, pretty fricked up himself.

It's not. It got renewed for a second season after the pilot episode aired.

Loved the scene where the masked man told the kids he was the Tin Man. Only 2 episodes left - curious if the will try to wrap up most of the storylines, or leave them open till next season.
