You either need a much longer season or an additional season to tie everything up. Hate to see the series ending.

Excellent episode. I've even started to like the flashbacks now.

Yes, the flashbacks do offer some definition as to how Nucky became Nucky.

That said, I wish the series would last a little longer.

This. There's just so much more they could do with this show. This is one of the few series I've watched that I'm pissed that it's ending prematurely.

Why is this show so unpopular on this board in terms of posters in the episode threads?

I actually had Steve ruin the death of Jimmy while he was accepting an award he apologized for the writers killing him off.

So how's the other undercover deal with this knowledge?

Would think he has to try to flip him to testify against Capone and use leniency on his murder of federal officer charge as inducement.

Speaking of Mueller, we haven't seen Viking ladies boobs in a while.

Did anyone else notice the foreshadowing with the seductive pictures of young girls on the Commodores desk? Found that interesting

Yep. I'm sure Gillian would be on his desk one day.

I was wondering the same thing.

I'm not so sure I like the way the signs are pointing for this series to finish up so quick. To me it looks like Nucky will be whacked and the Capone and Lucky storylines will continue on as history depicts.

To me it looks like this show is headed for Nucky to retire/be forced out of the business and end up back with Margaret. There's the foreshadowing of what Johnny Torrio was telling him about getting out, his background flashbacks showing us what Nucky really wants out of life, and his rum connection is pretty much over so he'll salvage what he can and get out.

Van Alden will get backed into a corner and will either go out in a blaze of glory or expose/kill the Fed and escape Chicago and start over elsewhere. I don't know how his character ends up but I hope he lives. I have a feeling Eli is a goner, or at the very least spends the rest of his days in Capone's crew and ends up dead or in jail. I don't see Capone killing him. Chalky will not regain his power and will end up broke and alone to remember his dead daughter.

IRL does Lucky kill the current boss in the show? They've been showing how Lucky, Meyer, etc. have been setting this up to take over.

When you consider Stephen Graham is playing the part with a fake American accent its an even more amazing performance.

The one part I didn't understand was Al not acknowledging Jimmy Darmody when Lucky brought up the name. Al and Jimmy knew one another.

I don't want to post a possible spoiler, but if you google Salvatore Maranzano you'll find out more about him, Lucky, and Lansky.

ETA: Do people care about spoilers in this thread if it happened IRL?
