Just watched last weeks episode today. Apparently, pissing off Jimmy is a bad idea.

Who knew his wife was vagina-tarian?

2 weeks in a row he's had some serious wtf moments... I thought he was going to blow his brains out at the end of that scene.

What did Jimmy say to the wife before shutting the door? I missed it.

Another outstanding episode.

Definitely the best new HBO series. I guess I will keep my subscription when Entourage has its last season next year.

He didn't say anything to her he told his son that mommy was going to tuck him in.

Couple points:

1. Great episode. I like how Nucky is going with a bunker mentality. His brother snapped him out of it and hurt his pride a bit. Kind of alienated him self in the process though. Really liked him too. Hope he isn't written out.

2. That carpet muncher of a wife had it coming. Talk about putting your eggs in one basket. Poor lesbians, they had it so rough in the early 20th century

3. I'm waiting for Al Capone to full on pursue his rise to power and interested in how it affects the show. I find it one of the more interesting subplots.

4. I think a subplot coming is the struggle for power in Atlantic City between Jimmy/Nucky. It might take another season but it's coming. His father baited it by saying he was the wrong man. Jimmy is no politician but he's crooked and if he gets Capone/Rothstein to eventually back him...his "business" could eventually support a political push. $100 says it ends up being Nuckys brother as the official "face".

5. That FBI agent is completely fricking nuts. I don't have any idea how his character arc is going but crazy hit man I could definitely see. Murder in front of everyone, that's a cold spell and a dark path. He could end up using righteousness as his cloak for murder.

Are you talking about the boys from Philly? If so, Harrow mentioned the ones that lived were in hiding and offered to kill the rest of their family to draw them out.

Very odd episode. The murder baptism scene was extremely strange. Nobody says a word while/after one man is drowning another in a creek? Also the guy didn't put up much of a fight either.

very slow episode action wise, but developed so many questions and story lines that it was a good one imho....

We finally found out who Jimmy's father is and why his mother looks close to the same age.

The FBI agent is getting crazier by the day....

Curious if Margaret becomes a liability for Nucky??

So, who was poisoning Jimmy's dad? Jimmy seemed to think it was his mom, when he showed her the poison, she didn't fess up, but, had that, "you got me" look on her face.

I think it had to be the help slipping it in his food. Seems like she prepared all his meals. Now who is paying/telling her to do this I don't know. I would say either Nucky or Jimmy's mom.

I'd be surprised if it was Nucky considering he was in the house last episode or the episode before that asking for help with the election.

A few minutes after that scene Jimmy said that his father would be fine. I took that as Jimmy's mom was the one poisoning him and that Jimmy made her stop. Maybe I read it wrong.

The baptism scene was pretty messed up. I have no idea where they're going to take Van Alden's character.

Think blacks in the 20's are going to say anything to a Federal Agent?

I don't think so.

"The wrong man is running this town."

I don't understand why he's saying this when Nucky has been under his wing for his entire career.
