Idk if this is what yall mean By guilty pleasure but I know the movies a liberal sham, the VP is a total ripoff of Dick Cheney, it's pretty ridiculous in many ways such as walking from Philly to NYC in a horrible blizzard and making that seem quick and pretty easy but I like the movie anyways

When it's on I always watch, I do like Dennis Quaid so maybe that's why I like it so much. Can stand Jake though

Absolute shitpile. Roland Emmerich is the worst director of our time. Hasn't mad a single movie that could even be considered mediocre

Knowing and The Number 23 are guilty pleasures. The Day After Tomorrow is a steaming pile of dogshit.

It really is just god awful. Worse than any film Michael Bay has been a part of. South Park ripped that movie to shreds with the Global Warming episode. And the sad part is this isn't even Emmerich's worst film. That goes to 10,000 BC.

I like Quaid too which is why I think I liked the movie. It's the sort of movie I'll leave on TV if I just want to have a movie on while I do something else in the living room like tie flies or finish some paperwork.

Give me CG mammoths crushing fools over CG super freeze resistant wolves any day.

movie sucks, but I'll admit I've probably watched it 4 or 5 times. The scene on the boat in downtown NYC with the wolves

The Day After Tomorrow is one of those movies that I like even though it's not very good. It's so outlandish and ridiculous that I find it entertaining. I mean, how can you not enjoy/laugh at people literally running from a freeze?

ID4 tells you to frick right off.

Stargate and The Patriot are solid as well (in terms of entertainment) IMO.
